Technological Excellence: Precision and Innovation at Your Service

PDE Project’s commitment to technological excellence is a fundamental pillar of its value proposition, ensuring precision, efficiency, and innovation at every stage of the project. This is clearly demonstrated through advanced 3D modeling capabilities and the use of a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge design software.

Advanced 3D Modeling

The ability to create detailed 3D models is a testament to PDE Project’s advanced technological approach. These models are not just graphic representations, but powerful tools for optimizing design and improving efficiency.

For Mechanical Engineering

3D modeling includes Piping, Structures, Supports, and Tubing. The use of “REVERSE ENGINEERING VIA SCANNER SURVEYS” is particularly significant. This cutting-edge technology allows for the creation of extremely precise 3D models of existing plants, even in the absence of updated original documentation. For the client, this translates into a drastic reduction in errors during modification or expansion projects (brownfield), improving precision and reducing design time.

For Electrical and Instrumentation

3D modeling extends to off-line Instrumentation, Electrical and/or Automation Panels, Local Panels and/or Junction Boxes (JB), Electrical and Instrumentation Cable Trays, Lighting Fixtures, Outlets, Supports, and Tubing. The ability to visualize these complex components in a three-dimensional environment allows for better identification of interferences (clash detection) and path optimization, significantly improving design efficiency and minimizing potential errors during the on-site installation phase. This leads to a reduction in rework costs and greater execution speed.

State-of-the-art Design Software

PDE Project employs a complete portfolio of industry-leading design software, which is essential to ensuring the precision, compliance, and efficiency of projects.
  • Generic CAD Software: The use of Autocad and Bricsys CAD provides a solid foundation for 2D and 3D technical drawing.
  • Electrical Design Software: Tools such as Spac and Eplan are specialized in the efficient creation of electrical diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. Ampere Professional & ETAP is used for electrical network sizing, ensuring safe and optimized electrical systems. Lighting design is supported by DIAlux or equivalent. For safety, GEO 2 is used for grounding network design, and FLASH, ZEUS for lightning protection systems. Hazardous area classification is managed with AtexGAs and ProgEX, demonstrating deep expertise in designing for potentially explosive environments.
  • Piping and Mechanical Analysis Software: CAESAR II is the benchmark software for pipe stress analysis, essential for ensuring structural integrity and plant safety under various operating conditions.
  • Advanced 3D Plant Modeling Software: The use of BRICSYS CAD 3D and CadMATIC demonstrates a high-level approach to integrated plant design. These tools allow for advanced multidisciplinary collaboration, automatic clash detection, and complete plant visualization.
  • Electric Heat Tracing Software: TraceCalc Pro 2 is a specialized tool for the design and calculation of electric heat tracing systems, aligned with the RAYCHEM partnership, ensuring precise and efficient temperature maintenance solutions.

Summary

The combination of detailed 3D modeling capabilities across all disciplines and the adoption of a comprehensive suite of specialized, industry-leading software demonstrates PDE Project’s advanced technological approach and its commitment to design efficiency. These tools make it possible to optimize designs, ensure safety and compliance, and streamline project execution from the conceptual phase to detail engineering.
